Show Quality Wethers and Breeding Stock

We are a small boer goat operation located in Willis, Texas. We have % and fullblood boer goats. Our goal is to produce quality show wethers & breeding stock.

We have met a lot of new friends throughout the past years & would like to thank all the breeders that have helped us get started.

It all started when my daughter begged to raise a wether for a FFA project. I refused because she already had 6 pigs & 1 lamb that she was raising for projects. Her lamb was really crazy & everyone told me that he needed a companion & told me just to go buy a cheap goat to keep him company. Well I figured that if I was going to spend the money that I should just get a good quality show goat. So we ended up with 2 % boer show goats that we housed next to the lamb. My daughter was so excited but the goats didn’t calm the lamb down. If anything it made him even hyper. My daughter worked very hard with the 2 wethers. It was a real learning experience for us & a lot of hard work for her. She did very well that year with the goats. She won bags, hats, jackets, ribbons, trophies & a belt buckle with the goats. She even got some things for showmanship. I was really amazed at how well she did. She was very interested in learning more & showing them. She liked them so much that we decided to raise a small herd of registered show quality boer goats & now here we are.

We look forward to helping any kid that is interested in showing goats for their 4H or FFA project.
